Carnival Cruise: Progresso, Cozumel, Belize City
The morning following our wedding, Michelle & I drove to Galveston and embarked on a 7 day cruise down the coast. We had stops at Progresso, Mexico; Cozumel, Mexico; and Belize City, Belize.
We didn't get off at Progresso and Cozumel was very touristy, but Belize was quite entertaining. We took a 3 hour tour of the city and got a closer look at how a struggling area functions. I wish we would have taken more pictures. In case you ever consider a cruise: Yes the wristbands work (for motion sickness) and Yes the food really is some of the best you'll ever have (every day and all you can eat) and yes the water really is THAT blue and clear.
